The white grape variety is named after its grower Georg Scheu who bred it from Riesling x Silvaner. It is as sensitive as its parent Riesling, requesting best, very warm locations. The grapes are very aromatic with a typical, fruity and elegant bouquet.
Both Scheu’s Grape wine and champagne taste very fruity and full-bodied, whilst their acidity is pleasantly mild.
