Der Schwarzriesling (franz. Pinot meunier) gehört zur Burgunderfamilie und ist ein enger Verwandter des Spätburgunders. Er ist keineswegs mit dem Riesling verwandt, wie der Name vermuten lassen könnte. Schwarzriesling reift sehr spät und beansprucht daher beste Lagen.
Der Schwarzriesling liebt unsere kräftigen, tiefgründigen Löss-Lehm-Böden; das milde Klima unserer Region ermöglicht ihm volle Reife.
